Our Unit was charted on January 2nd, 1933. We are a part of the largest women’s patriotic service organization in Maryland, but also in the world. There are over 10,000 Units located in America, as well as in some foreign countries.
In the spirit of service, not self, the mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives or our veterans, active duty military and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor our youth and promote patriotism, good citizenship and peace.
